TU has supported this woman in her attempt to give her poorer neighbours a helping hand. TU paid a neighbour hood provision store to supply dry rations for upto 30 families. In few cases we took it right to their doorstep and delivered. Most came to her house and collected from her while she checked on her list. However when we completed delivery there were still about 8 genuinely needy families. TU made arrangements for them to receive their rations 4 days later.
