The Untouchables has been working in this slum since the COVID days. From time to time we have given dry rations kits to the residents, who are part time workers with BBMP [collecting garbage and cutting trees]. Some earn money by selling trinkets at the traffic lights. A few beg. This Christmas we would like to donate a small hamper to each family in the slum. The hamper will consist of dry rations like 3 kg of rice + 3 kg of atta + 1 kg of Tur Dal + 1 litre of cooking oil -- together with a small Christmas Cake.
