This initiative, with a suitably equipped mobile van, helps the poor geriatric and pediatric population of the rural areas around Kolhapur who are affected by blindness, cataracts, etc.
City hospitals are far and unable to lend quick services, and moral support and the infirm find repeated hospital visits cumbersome and unaffordable.
